Deployment steps (in order)

  1. Deploy Release-25 for Deploy Brief Connect App and Config release pipeline in Azure DevOps to the target environment.
  2. Deploy Release-18 for Deploy Office Resources release pipeline in Azure DevOps to the target environment.

Manual post-deployment steps

  1. Log into the target Brief Connect environment as an admin user. Open the Admin Panel (the /adminPanel page, e.g. https://briefconnectdwerwa-cdne.azureedge.net/#/adminPanel is the dev url)
  2. Import and apply new config via AdminPanel: Active Configuration v4-250613.1.zip (ensure latest config is selected before clicking apply)
  3. In AdminPanel in your target environment, select Update SharePoint Content Types button from the menu bar. Ensure that Active Configuration v4-250613.1 (Active) is selected from dropdown first.
  4. In the browser console via Developer Tools, run the command window.clearCache(). Example: image.png
  5. Run the below Smoke tests

  • Upload a file from Sharepoint in the Documents tab on any record (or during record initiation)
  • On record initiation for all records, confirm that AO and QAO are single user roles
  • From any correspondence, test the 'copy record' feature
  • During record initiation, confirm that the 'Prepare and Review' label does not include 'Branch Endorsement'
  • Complete the workflow for a record and confirm that Recommendations are now enforced at the 'Record a decision' action
  • Once you have correctly closed a record after the above test, confirm that the record is not with anyone when closed (i.e., the 'currently with' field should be blank)
  • Check that the 'closed date' is also populated
  • Navigate to the 'My records' tab from the BC Dashboard, confirm that you cannot see any code snippets in the 'Current task' column
  • Confirm that the Initiator role during initiation is looking normal (no tooltip in place of label)
  • Confirm that the dashboard card 'Records in progress' is retrieving values correctly
  • As admin, attach a document to a record that is closed correctly
